Kenyatta University 39th Graduation Ceremony

The 39th Kenyatta University's Graduation ceremony is taking place on Friday 18th December 2015 at the University's Graduation Square.

This is the 39th Graduation Ceremony the University is hosting and thousands of Graduands are expected to be awarded various degrees, diplomas, certificates and post graduate degrees at this auspicious event.

Kenyatta University is located along Thika Highway and its a 15 to 20 minutes drive from Nairobi's central business district.

We wish all graduands a blessed and a memorable occasion.

University of Nairobi Graduation Ceremony

The Graduation of University of Nairobi is set to Kick off this Friday Morning at the University's Graduation square. 

This is after the Institution conducted a successful pre-graduation rehearsal on Thursday.

We wish all the Graduands happy moments and all the best in their future endeavors.

Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, Nyeri, Kenya : About Dedan Kimathi University of Technology

Dedan Kimathi University of Technology started as a community project in 1972 then known as Kimathi Institute of Technology (KIT), opening doors to its first students in 1978. KIT rapidly emerged as a leading institution in the country in the training of Certified Public Accountants.

It was upgraded to University status in 2007, and renamed Kimathi University College of Technology ( KUCT), a constituent college of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology .

Formerly The Mombasa Polytechnic University College, Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) is a public Technical university Located in the coastal city of Mombasa, Kenya. It is one of the National Polytechnics recently elevated to a fully fledged University in Kenya. It encompasses the many benefits of a small University in the nation's Island city bordering the great Indian ocean.

For several decades the TUM has been offering technical education to students pursuing professional courses in the various fields of Engineering and Technology, Applied and Health Sciences and Business and Social Studies. The TUM is famous for its hands on graduates with a touch of creativity and innovation.

Kisii University : About Kisii University

Kisii University was founded in 1965 as a Primary Teachers’ Training College on a 61 acre land that was donated by the County Council of Gusii. The College continued up to 1983 when it was upgraded to a Secondary Teachers’ College to offer Diploma programmes. Over the years, the College trained very many teachers who got posted to primary schools in different parts of the country. Many of the teachers rose to ranks of head teachers and others got promotions to work in various educational institutions.

Jomo Kenyatta University Of Science and Technology

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres North East of Nairobi, along Nairobi-Thika Highway.

It was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. Plans for the establishment of JKCAT started in 1977. In early 1978, the founding father of the nation, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta donated two hundred hectares of farmland for the establishment of the college.

Egerton University is the premier Agricultural public University in Kenya.  It  has  however, broadened to other areas of research and teaching such as Natural resources, Applied sciences, Education, Computer science, Medical sciences, Education, Engineering and Business studies.

The University has 3 constituent Colleges which are; Kisii University College, Laikipia University College and Chuka University College.  These are autonomous except for using the Senate of Egerton University. Currently, the University offers 63 undergraduate degree, 46 masters degree, and 36 doctorate degree programmes in its various faculties.

The so-long a journey to university prestige started sometimes back in 1965,barely three years after Kenya was granted independence by The British Colonial Masters.It started when Templer Barracks was handed over to the Kenyan Government by the British.

Moi University

Moi University is located in Eldoret, 310 kilometres northwest of Nairobi, the Capital City of Kenya. It was established as the second university in Kenya by an Act of Parliament, the Moi University Act of 1984

The first cohort of 83 students was admitted in 1984 through a transfer from the Department of Forestry, University of Nairobi. Since then, the University has experienced phenomenal growth from its initial one faculty in 1984, to a total of Thirteen (13) Schools, four (4) Directorates and Two (2) Institutes in 2012. 

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology

The University was founded through Harambee spirit on 5th January, 1972, as Western College of Arts and Applied Sciences (WECO) under the stewardship of .the former fiery MP, Masinde Muliro. As chairman of the project executive committee, Muliro worked with Prof. Reuben J. Olembo (then Head, Department of Botany University of Nairobi) as secretary.

Maseno University

Maseno University founded in 1991, is the only University on the globe that lies along the Equator (00). It is one of the seven public universities in Kenya. The University is located in Maseno Township along Kisumu-Busia road, 25 km from Kisumu City and approximately 400 km west of Nairobi the capital city of Kenya. The University also shares its boundaries with Vihiga and Kisumu County.
