The Shade Foundation is a charitable Trust that sponsors needy and deserving students to realize their dreams, transform lives and participate fully in developing their communities.

The Management of The Shade Foundation invites applications from 2015 KCPE candidates (Girls) who are from needy and deserving background with 350 points and above. This is a full four year Secondary Education Scholarship to be offered at Oasis Girls’ High School – Sulatn Hamud in Makueni County.

The Co-operative Bank Foundation is the Co-operative Bank’s Vehicle for social responsibility. The current flagship project of the foundation is an education scholarship scheme for bright but less fortunate children who face difficulty in paying their school fees for secondary education. This scholarship program began with the form one class of 2007.

How to apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship beneficiaries are selected every year from the 47 counties in Kenya, and enjoy a full 4-year secondary. In order to qualify, the below are required;

KCB Foundation - Procedure Of Application For Award Of Secondary Scholarships / Bursaries In Kenya



This is a charitable organization, established in the year 2007 to oversee the overall corporate social responsibility programs for the KCB Group. The management of KCB Foundation is vested on the Board of trustees. 

The board is scheduled to meet every three (3) times in a financial year. However, the day to day operations of the foundation are handled by The Manager, KCB Foundation and The Divisional Director, Public Affairs and Communication. The Foundation supports community programmes in all the countries where the Bank operate, i.e.  Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Southern Sudan and Rwanda.

Rattansi Education Trust Fund



Dr. Hassanally Rattansi took over the management of the Trust following the death of his father, Mohamedally Rattansi, on 28 th July, 1957, and the Chairmanship in 1962. He devoted his life to administering and developing the Trust, and together with his wife, Dr.Vijoo Rattansi (Mrs.), have made it into what it is today, 50 years later.
