'Teachers Strike is Still On' .... Wilson Sossion |
In an interesting turn of events, The Kenya National Union of Teachers Executive Committee have come out 'gun blazing' refuting the Government Branding that they are a CORD Coalition project whose focus is to destabilize the work of the Jubilee Government.
'The strike is still on' .. This was the final ruling of the KNUT Executive committe meeting that was held on Sunday at the KNUT'S Offices, along Mfangano street in Nairobi.
KNUT Chairman, Wilson Sossion refuted claims that the government had offered them 17 Billionand that they had refused to negotiate. He confirmed that the government had only offered Ksh. 3 Billion on the table.
He equally reiterated that it is only KNUT which is in a position to negotiate for the deal since the legal notice number 534 was a creation of the KNUT and not any other body.
